Johns Hopkins 是公衛(wèi)專業(yè)里面的NO.1 , JHU的公衛(wèi)學(xué)院設(shè)置的專業(yè)分支比較細(xì)致, 即使已經(jīng)有流行病學(xué)這個(gè)分支, 但是學(xué)校還是另外設(shè)有把微生物技術(shù)結(jié)合了免疫學(xué)的方向。JHU的School of Public Health包括公衛(wèi)的傳統(tǒng)Department，例如： Biostatistics、Environmental Health Sciences、Epidemiology、Health，Behavior and Society、Health Policy and Management、International Health、Mental Health、Population, Family and Reproductive Health。除此之外，JHU的School of Public Health還有兩個(gè)特別的分支：Department: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology、Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology。

從School of Public Health at University of Pittsburgh的錄取要求上來看，Pittsburgh大部分Department公衛(wèi)的MPH，PhD，DrPH學(xué)位是需要GRE成績的，而 MSc與MHA(Master of Health Administration)對(duì)GRE不做要求，除了MSc in Epidemiology必須要求GRE。
IBT要求是80 for Admission，但是如果registration at GSPH需要IBT 100，如果沒到100 must be tested for English proficiency by the University’s English Language Institute (ELI)。
